The Dodsons have made it to the world of blogging. I (Rachel) am ready for a more grown up way to tell about my family and what's going on than Myspace. I love reading our friends' blogs, so now we have our own!
We made it through Christmas, Luke has enough toys to last him a lifetime, and they are currently covering the entire living room floor. Hannah's room looks like the Disney Channel blew up in it. I've got all the decorations down and put away, except for a few that got forgotten and are sitting sad and lonely on the kitchen counter. I really need to get up in the attic, but Luke gets all kinds of angry when I go out in the garage without him (the things that go vroom are out there), and when he goes down for a nap, the last thing I want to do is climb up in the attic.
So anywho, my house is an after-holiday diasaster, and I have till Saturday to get it cleaned up. My crew of high school friends, collectively known as Lucky Seven (L7) for short, is coming over for our annual Christmas party. The last few years, as we have all gotten married and given birth, it has become easier to get together after Christmas than before. After that the holidays are officially over...well for 29 days at least because my birthday pops up on February 2!
So what a boring first blog, lol, but at least you can feel confident knowing that my house is a mess just like yours. :)
